Loved playing this, had fun hurting my hands! What a simple but effective concept that has a good amount of replayability. I found that mashing the three keys was the best strategy lol. I couldn't get higher than 170 but managed 351 by mashing.

I think my only criticism is that music and some sound effects would have made it much better. Also maybe being able to skip the text intro or speed it up somehow if I have seen it before.

Cool concept and loving the use of the theme! Im sure puzzle game levels are hard to come up with and with such a short amount of time you came up with 5 on top of implementation, nice job! Would love to see this further expanded upon with more complex levels and maybe even more mechanics thrown in.

Id probably only complain about the music repeating when changing scenes but others have already commented about that, though I would also maybe say pick a longer track. And maybe some more things thrown in the background to stir up some more atmosphere.

Really great art, colors and visuals made for a cozy atmosphere. I feel that the player should be able to control the pacing of the conversations, or they should be much faster as they were very slow. Great job!

Nice concept and wonderfully soothing. I feel like the leaf coulda been a bit smaller, felt really big to me. Anyway, wonderful Job!

Gorgeous game, I really liked it. I love Pokemon Snap so naturally I would. I really liked the skybox and the silly looking animals. The visuals were really nice and calming.

I think some leaves on the ground and some crunchy footstep sounds would have boosted the already great atmosphere you had going. The game did seem a little too bright though.

I really loved this! So cute, so cozy, wonderful art, and fun to play around in! Im sad there was no music or sound because I think those would have REALLY made this great. Overall wonderful job!

Hi! I think your concept and art are really cute and I liked the music a lot too! Overall very cozy autumn vibes.

I did like the concept of your mechanic, but felt the controls were a bit hard to get the hang of and the level design could be improved, though this was a p short jam.

Overall great game!!

I think the text boxes which kept hinting at what to do and taking control away detracted from the experience, would have been better with far fewer of them.  The overall vibe and look of the game was pleasant and wonderfully cozy though! Good job!

Simple and great looking game you made! The game feels really cozy and relaxing. Really related to that intro... reminded me of stardew valley.

The timing with catching the  fish felt  a bit off to me but besides that, really liked it! Great job

Awesome art and presentation, music is really fitting too. Like others have stated, controls were difficult to get a hang of but after getting used to it it was fine. Cool game!

Yes I feel like I probably would have tried to implement some kind of leaderboard if I'd been able to utilize the second week of the jam but alas. It would have made it much more interesting! Thanks for playing and for your feedback!

Awesome in every way! Loved the color limitation, the death mechanic, pixel art, sounds. One of my favs so far

Nice little game. I agree to definitely allow for skipping text in the beginning, as the speed was way too slow. I liked the music a lot but the levels were pretty confusing.

Cute game! Loved the pixel art and the level design. Level 40% seemed a bit unfair with the timing but otherwise enjoyed it a lot!

Hi! great game and awesome art. I agree with others that I would have liked a checkpoint between levels cause it got frustrating after a while. I also think you should be able to retain the ability to self destruct into a block after the previous timer runs out cause that means if you mess up without actually dying you have to restart completely which is frustrating.

I absolutely loved the art style and the concept! I managed to beat the game despite that difficult last level. Your art is super cute and really boosted the overall experience. Switching the spikes and the flag roles is also a very cute idea. I love games that are difficult and need precision (I love dark souls and celeste) so I really enjoyed this. The movement was also very responsive and felt really good.

I thought the flags collision boxes were a bit big, sometimes I felt I didn't hit it but alas the level restarted. It made the last level feel a bit unforgiving (which is rich coming from me lol). Also I did like the CRT effect on the screen but it made text kinda hard to read.

I really enjoyed your art and the concept you had. I liked the different roles you had to use and needing to utilize them to progress. Like someone else said, it was a bit unclear on what I could interact with. Also would have loved some spooky music. Nice little game!

I like your concept based on the theme a lot and i think the potential is there but I think the implementation holds it back. The game is rather buggy and I found it hard to play because of it. Two major bugs were where I would fall through the floor when spawning and not being able to move after spawning at a new checkpoint. I was also able to die when already dead.

I think the movement could be more responsive too, it felt too sluggish when changing directions.

Despite this, I liked the art you had and again the concept is strong. Good job!

This was simple but wonderfully effective. The music was fitting as the concept is a bit macabre. Nice art too.

Think my only complaint is I wish  you couldn't hit the same balcony you are jumping from. Great work!
