This is really nice! Those guitar chords in the beginning blend in so well with the rest of the music and really gives the track some personality.

I'm a sucker for electric guitar and I'm still looking for ways to better mix my guitar sounds in with the music. So it's definitely refreshing to hear someone execute it flawlessly. Good job! 😊

Thank you very much for your compliments.

I didn't do anything to mix the electric guitar. I used it as is. I'm lucky to have good VSTs :)

Yo, what a BANGER!!
I particularly noticed one sick trick I've used before, and I loved it: having a weird rhythm, e.g. 5/8 in your case, and switching it off with a simple rhythm so now and then, 8/8 in your case. It feels so good, having that weird rhythm (that is still easy to wrap your head around though!) be switched off by a simple rhythm for a little while. It was so smooth too!

Furthermore, the whole just sounds good. No bad sounds, no rhythm changes that sounded 'off', just pure banger-material. This is the kind of song that I would want in a race-game!

And yes, it gives me F-Zero vibes, even though I have never played that game and only know one song from it xD. Good job man, you deserve to win this one (again)!

Oh, and separate from all of this, but looking at your profile picture (which I think is very nice - very simple, bright and nice colors, very recognizable) made me want one of my own. So I fiddled around and came up with one of my own: a reindeer made using solely musical symbols (sometimes butchered though xD). Thanks for being an inspiration!

My previous profile picture was something I found on google. I remade it simplier because I don’t have any drawing talent. I’m happy you noticed it.

Yours is really good ! You know how to draw ! The whole note for the eye, the treble clef for the antlers, the bass clef for the ear. And even a fermata for the neck :D

Glad you like it! And wow, good eyes, you spotted quite a few! I also used a half-rest for the nose and a sharp for the blush. The rest of the lines are... just lines (though with a bit of imagination you could probably see some symbol in it ;)

Again, thank you so much for those kind words.

Every time we see each other on a jam we give each other compliments :D

I'm not going to hide it or be fake modest, I'm proud of this music. I'm happy to keep up the pace and make one piece of music a week. The limitations are hard but I feel like I'm learning something new every time.

And I have to say that getting a note from Nick is the icing on the cake!

That's the spirit! You shóuld be proud of what you make, and of the things you learn on the way. Don't worry, it won't make you sound selfish.
And I love getting notes from you as well <3. Let's keep up the pace!
