are we allowed to have words on the title screen or like a triangle or symbol or something?  for like a start button or a exit button

Sorry words are not allowed within the game itself. You may use shapes or symbols as long as they don't appear to spell out words and you're not using a font to create them. How to overcome this language limitation is the main challenge of this jam.
