I like the look but it's real confusing. It also crashed after I left the 3 doors to explore more.
I really like the implementation of old Goldbox style rpgs. Nice job.
Couldnt play this one because i have keyboard without numpad :(
Audio and graphics are pretty good, but I found the game itself to be a little bit confusing. Wasn't sure exactly what to do and got lost fairly easily. Some extra instructions and drawing a bit further down the hallway would have helped with this. The idea of a classic dungeon crawler style game fits the theme well, though.
Requiring the use of a numpad makes this game far less accessible than it could otherwise be- I couldn't play at all on my laptop. I think this game would have benefited greatly from a simpler and more consistent control scheme. I also think the game would have benefitted from more explanatory text/legends integrated with the gameplay, instead of frontloading all the explanation and relying mostly on pictures when e.g. collecting items.
Graphics read fairly well, and everything about the game appears to correctly adhere to the jam's aesthetic constraints.
I think I pressed every key on my keyboard and not one of them allowed me to start the game sadly.
