NB game mechanics

So i have an idea in my head but I would like to test the water to see if it would be seen as offensive or in bad taste.

The main character is NB gender fluid and happily swings from one end of the spectrum to the other, changing outfits and equipping items in order to complete certain tasks.

However I don't want the game to be seen as sexist or sexually exploitative, so I may need some help and feedback to avoid offending anyone.

Hello! I just so happen to be genderfluid, though you may want others to give their input since mine is just one pov. ^^

This honestly sounds fine to me as someone that def goes from one gender feel to another, and there are some games that already support changing your customizable MC in the middle of the narrative. The premise honestly sounds fine to me, though the exact nature of the tasks MC needs to do may make it problematic or not depending on what they are.

I appreciate you asking this question to make sure, though! :D

Awesome, thank you! I'll keep the group posted on progress and so on; I hope to keep the game light hearted and mildly irreverent but not offensive, which i understand can be a fine line to walk.

Awesome! :D Looking forward to updates on it!

You could have an enby main character who is just kind of "average": Wears a hoodie, short-to-medium length hair, jeans, piercings, nothing flashy, just a person.

The trick is, they can transform "magical girl" or Sentai style into a variety of (at least 3) colorful forms each with their own special abilities and none of which feature any strictly masculine or feminine characteristics.
