For such a short period of time, the fake gameplay video looks incredibly polished!
I love the grapevine for health, and the paper cutout style of the characters and objects in the gameworld. And the animation when picking up the item is great! It's a very comfy looking cute sidescroller.
Solid work!
Thank you! :)
I looooove love love this. It's just flawlessly executed. And the cute main character doesn't hurt, either :D This one has a ton of potential to become an actual game, IMO
Thanks! :D
I absolutely love the style in this! There’s so much charm packed into such a short clip.
Thank you and congrats on winning!
thank you so much!! :)
This concept is so cute and relaxing... I'd love to play this! Lovely job!
Thank you!!
love this packrat and the cartoony, paper style and texture of the animations! amazing work
Thanks! Paper mario was one of the inspirations, as well as Great God Gove. :>
Fantastic work! Character artwork is tremendous, as is the rest of the visuals.
Thanks!! :>
So cute!! I'm so surprised that you were able to pack so much visually into this entry. Including the concept art was such a nice touch!
Thank you!
I had a lot of fun making this. Noon and I kept adding to it until it felt complete!
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!!! God the world and artstyle you've put together are super super pretty, I love the mixed media approach. Wanted to extend props especially to the camera movement during the pickup and the character movement at the start-- they're both feel very realistic haha
Thanks!
Noon was the one that thought we should try a paper mario style and also suggested using a woodrat. I thought about putting a little bit of gameplay. We both had a lot of fun on the project. :)
the player character is incredibly cute 🙂
Thanks! :)
