This is a cool game. I like it! Very original. Its quite satisfying when you learn a new pattern and fire it out without thinking. Especially the 4 key patterns. Great job!

There is also a timer that pops up at the end of a pattern to show how fast you did it ;)

I made it very small and faint to draw away from a competitive nature, because I want it to be first and foremost something to do more than something to play.

Amazing!

Everything is very well presented and feels quite polished.

The core gameplay is repetitive, but then that's the point!   :)

In fact, the patterned repetition actually makes it a pretty good simulation of  real life knitting.  So I'd say it's not just a good stim game, it's a good sim game as well! :)

Great choice of music!  The songs really go a long way toward setting a mellow mood for the game.

Vertical scrolling the key prompts works great.  Gives a good sense of progress as you type each sequence.

Most of all, I really like how mistakes are treated.   Back scrolling the prompt just that little bit gives a clear cue that a mistake has been made without feeling too punishing.  And I don't know where you found that sound fx but it's excellent.  Clearly says 'you made a mistake' but isn't alarming or jarring in any way.   Together, the back scrolling and the sound effect provide great user feedback that a mistake was made without disrupting the mellow vibe of the whole experience.  Very well done!

The only suggestion I could offer would be to maybe try highlighting the individual letters as they are typed.  So if it's 'FDJ', when you type 'F', the F in 'FDJ' changes color to yellow or something.   This would just add another visual aide to mark the player's progress.

Final thought:  with a little tweaking, I think this game could also make a great typing trainer.  It was definitely helping me practice up on my 'home row' and the relaxing pace and chill vibe would definitely make it more inviting to use than most the typing trainers I've used over the years.

Oh gosh, thank you so much!  I love your idea of highlighting the keys!  Gonna have to work on that!

Okay, I added another version with the keys highlighting.  Made sure to mention it's not for judging for the game jam since it was done after the jam, but if you want to check it out, it's v1.0 :)
