The art is so incredibly impressive and possibly witchcraft. You made ASCII blobs into actual human things with expression and also made a fun ZZT game. I am sorry about capitalism and I got frightened by the kids I was supposed to be scaring. Very very good.

Some really cool, clever mechanics in this! I think I started the pool job from scratch... four or five times? Great framing. Awesome art boards. Well played.

The Good:

Really impressive! Lots of innovative new puzzle designs with the slider and pool cleaning jobs, and an impressive number of pop-up messages for the latter. The art absolutely sold the game, and while your art has always been fantastic this one is really loaded with complex poses and angles that still read easily in ZZT. Those little extra animations like the thumb moving in the first gig and the tail wagging in the ending were great touches as well.

The Bad:

About the only real issue is that I feel like the kid scaring game didn't seem very cooperative unless you were in a straight hallway, something I don't think could really be fixed, but might have been encouraged via narrative (something like "shuffling around corners in that suit may be noisy, causing kids to check behind them")

The large amount of text for the Steam parody was also welcome, but because the service was sometimes down I definitely would have been combing through it for awhile between days to look for any changes had I not been informed on stream that there weren't any.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll keep your points in mind for an update I release after the jam's over.

My main criticism of my own work here, especially after watching your stream, is that I wrote way to much stuff. Unfortunately, "decreasing the wordcount by 33%" is well beyond the effort I'm willing to expend for an update.

I loved every of the jobs. The one proper troll in the middle is very special to me. This filled me with joy. I love it so much. Thank you for it.

Really enjoyed this one, even though I got stuck by a bug in the slider puzzle. It took me a while, but I did finally beat the pool clean up job! That was pretty satisfying. My favorite job was scaring kids in a monster costume in sort of a stealth mission. Great stuff. Cute art.

I am not gonna lie, I was legit yelling about ZZT and certain mechanics of it during one gig, but the art board afterward was well worth it ^_^

Thanks. Art boards are probably my favorite thing to make in ZZT. :3

Convince me you weren't influenced by Cathy Guisewite in that last art board.

Cathy doesn't have a nose, for one.

For two, I asked my friends for anime/manga references of that particular expression.
