I don't know why but there's something really charming about this art style! Is it MS Paint? Great job  in general, definitely feels like an alien wilderness

Looks cool, it would've been so cool if all those sprites were tiny instead of taking more screen space!

I just get this error:

Cannot read property 'length' of null

Sorry about that...

Very nice game

You should make the game easier at the start to get used to the game

We really appreciate the review and we will try to make the next game better and easier in the beginning !

I think it would be better if you could use mouse scroll to select items from the bar. Also, diagonal movement would be highly appreciated! :D

Health regeneration would also be nice, at least when you are full. Nice survival concept, though. Not an average lost-in-the-forest :D

We wanted to have full keyboard control, that is why we didn't do mouse scroll for the hotbar, although I do understand the struggle. Thanks for the comment.

Very janky on my admittedly not great, but average spec'ed laptop. The code should be reviewed. It was almost unplayable.

Since lighting is such a big part of the game, I think you could have thought better about how to implement it.

I think the game wants to be scary but the music suggests otherwise.

Now for some positives:

- I was pleasantly surprised when I encountered the little blobby jelly things. I like the way the enemies caught up on me because of my narrow field of view, and eventually killed me, and I only had myself to blame. It added suspense and intrigue on my next try.

- The theme is spot on.

- I like that the controls were very easy to understand and get used to, enabling me to get straight in to the fun!
