Really nice game!
The graphics remind me of "Dangerous Dave", what a wonderful game...
The difficulty of the game is a little tough (I quit after having 1 step missing in order to finish level 6 lol), and it's not related much to the jam's topic... but the game itself is really cute, well done!
Thank you for the retro game feeling you gave me! I appreciate that you included the source code so I was able to compile and play your game on Linux (unfortunately I had to remove your sounds). Here my advice: Next time it would be great if you could include all necessary headers and your Asset folder in the Source.zip.

Not related to the theme at all, but a nice Sokoban implementation. The move limit does seem new.
I love it, really fun!! :D nice retro old game feel.
Very creative and fun, I can kind of see how it ties in with "future", because you have to plan ahead and whatnot. Nice amount of difficulty, but the graphics are lacking and the sound effects don't really match them.
