Nice runner game. I enjoyed the chaos of the "chain jump". If you decide to continue working on this, you might want to try and calibrate the run animation a little closer to the run speed :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. It was initially tied up with the speed, but I ran out of time to micromanage its motion at high speeds, so made it run on a constant speed instead. I'll make it better next time I upload an update. Thanks for playing my game!

A nice simple parkour platforming game. I think I would have liked more parts with wall jumping as that was the most satisfying mechanic.

Hi Alienturnedhuman! Thanks for the feedback!  Hope you enjoyed it. This was my first game, so it took me too long to get the character movements to feel good. I worked on the level on the very last day, so it's not planned well. I hope to get back after the jam and add more mechanics that I had to let go due to time constraints, and get better at level design.

Although, I can tell you the last "stage" is mostly goofy wall jumps. Also, there is a shortcut to the last stage ;)

Yeah, I'm playing on a Macbook, and the terrible butterfly keys (combined with my low skill!) make games that require precise controls very awkward so I didn't get far and kept plummeting to my doom.

If I can't manage to get further by myself I'll check out a playthrough on Twitch (if he hasn't done yours already, SigoNitori will complete playthroughs of all of the games by the end of next weekend)

Looking forward to SignoNitori's stream myself. I've been watching his stream recordings for other games. He's very good at analysing game structure.

Anyway, I know what you mean. I've got a mac from the company I work for. Using keyboard for anything in there is not enjoyable.

Some very difficult jumps in there, and quite fun to figure out how to wall jump! I'd say it would be nice if it was possible to practice the jumps more without having to go from the beginning all the time; removing the bottomless pits and just making them into pits that you can climb out of (but of course, this loses you time so you still wouldn't want to fall in), might make it more fun to play.

Hi TrolledWoods, thank for the feedback. That's a good idea and fits with the story too. Programs might "fall" (in activity) due to cpu spikes but never die. I'll add that to the game once the jam is over.

Choise of music is really good. And I appriciate the concept. Unfortunatle I got stuck on one of wall jump sections.
Before reading comments I dind't notice there is wall of death behind me, died in botomless pit every time.
Interesting that you do backflip when take damage.

first time in my life i got jumpscared by a silent black wall supposedly representing death. i'd play more but there's an awkwardly timed walljump in the beginning that i couldn't pass through. score 41 btw

OLC::points++ for silent horror and sense of impending doom as I realized no matter what I did the wall would kill me

Yeah, that was the intended story element. Wall jump is very automated so I changed a few things to throw off players. You can get past with the right speed and position.

Initial idea was for players to control their speed and jump time to win. In the end, I juiced up jump speed to make it possible for most cases. Hope you get to the last stage. It's all goofy chain jump and low effort ending 😂
