Had fun playing this. I'd suggest adding keyboard input (six letters plus backspace/arrow keys) to make it a bit quicker/easier for some (I'm on laptop). The clicking sound was satisfying. The win animation reminded me of the animation Microsoft Solitaire used to have (cascading cards)!
Not a game for me as I don't understand hexadecimals... so... to not make it unfair for you just because I don't know how hexadecimals work, I won't rate this game. But it does seem like a good concept!
I thought I knew colors until this game. It's harder than it looks. I could sewer I had the correct colors sometimes, just to find that I was one letter wrong. Really nice work!
It would be nice if at the end the correct hex code were shown. I confess that I used a Chrome extension to check some of my guesses to know how far I was hahahaha
A fun little concept! Would be tricky for those that don't understand hexadecimal. But I think it's interesting for those that do. The graphics are really well done for as simple as they are. Super clean interface. I actually had to spend the time to get all 5 clues! Well done.
Clever concept, for sure.
I could only get two. I like that they're random, but there are only so many words you can make with A-F. Also, using only the upper bounds of hex (A-F), it certainly makes for light pastels with only subtle differences in color.
Could be used for memorizing Hex color codes :D nice concept but for educational purposes.
took me a second to figure out but very cool. havent won a round yet though XD
Thanks! I think the idea was cooler than the execution of it. Originally there were no hints, only the color circles but it was basically impossible because hexadecimal colors just aren't intuitive enough.
If I were to continue it I'd expect it to start with 3 letter words and work up to 6.
