Hi some questions on your really intriguing game...

#1, I draw 3 cards on my turn and pick one. Do I discard the other two?

#2 Masterwork items are a bit confusing to me... maybe you could give a couple examples on how they work, like what value do I apply for the +/-? Do I decide? What "wrap around" means. I think I understand how to create one... a roll result of 7, 12, 12 on Bronze or 2, 2, 2 on Gold or 2, 7, 12 on Copper?

#3, if I already have 3 projects shelved and I can't complete a 4th, what then? Do I just discard and move on to the next day?

#4, hopefully I have this right... so when I complete a project, I take the number value on that card and subtract it from a card on my client list? So if I have a 7 as a client, if I complete two projects... 2 & 5, I can use those to satisfy that client?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi friend!! To answer your questions:

1.) Yes! You discard the other two cards you don't choose for your project card.
2.) You will apply a value of +/-1 to any single die once per project. You cannot change which die gets this value; once it's applied, you cannot use it again until your next roll. "Wrap around" typically refers to the fact that a 1 could be -1 to make it a 6, as if the numbers were arranged in a circle. 1 is adjacent to 6 and vice versa.
As for how to create one, it's essentially a "perfect" roll for each range. The lowest of the low, the highest of the high, and a 7 of any configuration based on what the metal requires. This can be incidental during the course of play, but as you gain experience (more dice) this becomes more likely closer to the end of the game. In some of my playthroughs, I've managed to clear the client list and have a few turns to try to get a masterwork only to get it on the very last turn! It's a nailbiter!
3.) If your shelf is full when you would add an active project to it, you would simply discard the failed project, or discard one of the shelved projects to replace with the active project.
4.) Yep! You nailed it! Most often you'll be applying project cards that meet or exceed the client numbers, but occasionally you'll find yourself in a position where you need multiple projects to fulfill a client. In your example, the 2 project and the 5 project can, over the span of 2 turns, fulfill a 7 client! You've got this perfectly figured out :)

Thanks for asking such thorough questions! Happy to answer any more if needed. Thanks for playing my game!

Thank you Jaime, that is very helpful. I will jump back if anything else stumps me.

Genuinely such a gorgeous-looking game and really nice concise rules. I definitely will be cracking into this on my own time and incorporating it into other TTRPGs for downtime bits! really great work :)

Beautiful design and artwork, and the card-based mechanics are super easy to understand, which is not always the case for games that use them. Will definitely be giving this a shot.

Love the design and clean, simple gameplay!

Gorgeous design, and I like the mechanism of clients/projects from the deck. I could see an expansion with more narrative elements in it, but the core of this is really solid!

Thank you so so much for the kind feedback. It being my first design, I've been a bit worried about whether it plays as well as it has for me!

My intention is to continue this as a series of other fantasy crafting games that could be used as downtime activities in RPGs, Tavern Games, or just standalone fun for people with cards and dice on hand!

thank you so so much! The artist who did the work really killed the design. You can find her work here!!
