I agree with what others have said, some kind of indicator to what state different orders are in. The ability to drop people directly into chairs and their orders directly onto a place setting on the table in front of them. There were several times were it seemed like I did not have the food and the dinner perfectly lined up and they did not appear to eat their meal. Maybe the ability to see which table a meal ticket was for, that way when you hit the rush, you have a small reminder of what goes where without putting the customer’s name directly on the order. Maybe a system of when you turn in the orders that they enter a queue, and then the meals are made in the order they are added to the queue in the kitchen.

Another good old cooking game to draw some inspiration from is Diner Dash, also on Crazy Games.

Overall, a good prototype, and I think if you keep working on it you could have a very fun game on your hands!

Thank you for all the suggestions. These features could prove handy indeed, and Diner Dash seems to be a good inspiration.

Great use of the assets! The art and music really gel together for a nice style. I would love to see where this project could end up given the time to flesh it out

Of course it's only a prototype so it's hard to say a lot about something so early in development, but a little more instruction on the submission page would have been pretty helpful (though I think I eventually figured it out). The biggest thing I think would really help flesh it out are indications of what state things are in, which is probably your planned next step anyway. I also think it might be nice if the only place it's possible to drag something is in the spot where it belongs rather than just any arbitrary spot

Make sure to post a followup if you take it any further!

Indeed, there's not much feedback for the user at the moment. Thank you for the encouragement!

Concept is good and the layout of the hotel was well done. What I would like to see most is a full screen button since I had to zoom out really far to see the whole game.  There is a check box on the Edit Game page that allows the game to have a full screen button, so if your software doesn't just shove the whole game to the left if it is in full screen (my only major complaint about the current version of GDevelop), I would definitely recommend checking it.

My other suggestion (if it was not already on your to-do list)  is a trash can for leftover items when customers give up and leave -- I had a whole bunch of order papers just sitting on the table I had to move to the side. The trashcan was a feature I really appreciated in an old flash game called Penguin Diner, which  I found to be a very well done restaurant type game. It's still playable on CrazyGames, so I'll share the link in case you are curious.

Both suggestions would be very needed of course, thank you for taking the time to comment this prototype of a game.

It seems there is other restaurant type games indeed. My inspiration was Bed and Breakfast (also available on CarzyGames), but Penguin Diner seems a good one too.

Hmm...

There's definitely potential here, the basic idea sounds very fun.

Unfortunately you're not really far enough along for me to give a proper review.

However, I will say that the assets and music present a well-put-together cutsie style, and with a lot of work, you could have a really good game on your hands.

Good luck!

Thank you for your kind words. Indeed there is not much of a game at the moment. The assets are all provided by the awesome Open Game Art contributors, so mad props to them!
