It's funny... I found the rate of fire to be way too slow, the movement speed to be way too fast, and the collision on the pickups way too precise... but I overall was having a lot of fun! Maybe because of how those things all came together?

The pathfinding for the apples was really well done so they'd always bunch together coming from 90 degree angles. It made me feel like I could strategize and not just react and it led me to discovering the satisfying explosion from taking out several of them in one shot

One idea to consider might be giving different attack patterns to the different color apples rather than just speed. Like maybe green apples come at you from diagonals

Very nice atmosphere with the visuals and audio. Especially good choice of music

I suggest audio/visual feedback on actions to make it clearer when things were happening. Often I wasn't clear if my clicks weren't registering or if I was supposed to click more times. I never did manage to till the top four squares

I was able to highlight the trees the same way I could the plots of land, but I never did figure out how to make them do anything

Great use of the assets! The art and music really gel together for a nice style. I would love to see where this project could end up given the time to flesh it out

Of course it's only a prototype so it's hard to say a lot about something so early in development, but a little more instruction on the submission page would have been pretty helpful (though I think I eventually figured it out). The biggest thing I think would really help flesh it out are indications of what state things are in, which is probably your planned next step anyway. I also think it might be nice if the only place it's possible to drag something is in the spot where it belongs rather than just any arbitrary spot
