Ah the time honored run-for-it 'admission of guilt'. Though risking injury or harm of the innocent in his flight showed his true colours.

Phew that was really good, but so, so grim. Certainly didn't go the way I expected, but in a very creative way. Very well done.

An engaging tale of an unexpected fugitive in a setting that felt comforting. The conflict within Gisbert and his drastic actions created a rich emotional tapestry.

A very well paced story, with a subversion of my expectations towards the end. Fantastic. The alternate point of view puts a very savory irony on the whole thing.

There were some grammatical errors, but the overall flow of the story made up for the rougher bits.

Well done, I certainly look forward to your future works.

You never know who to trust, do you? At first, I wanted to dislike the darkness of the story but then I realized, it's life and lessons learned about people. Some of the mechanics of the writing could have been honed a little more, but this is a jam so the story didn't leave me wanting to nitpick it.
