I can't help but notice how much effort went into the development of 'Sonic Shock'! Aside from a few bugs like the mayhem run glitching out and kiosk locking out new upgrades (I still managed to beat Dr. Roboton though!), it's a pretty fleshed out game with a lot of complex systems (map, upgrades, inventory and the list goes on) working correctly. It's simply impressive that you managed to implement all of that in a jam game. I also checked the credits (the clickable text was quite handy!) and found a very helpful accessibility asset on your GitHub that I recommend other Godot users to try.
My favourite part of the game itself was the final boss! Hopping across the huge map and smashing Dr. Roboton with my hammer as everything explodes was definitely one of the best moments for me. I also liked the hacking mini-game and the variety of play styles that can be applied. By the way, the Robotizers changing sprite & facial expressions as they noticed me was quite hilarious!
Thank you for submitting your game to the 'Out of Stock' jam!
Thank you for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
The final boss was definitely the highlight for me, too. Thank you for the shout out to the accessibility add-on! I hope to continue expanding it and making it more helpful for Godot devs everywhere!
Only complaints i have is that i kinda got lost not knowing how to open doors, and the UI is a bit messy to navigate/read trough. It would've also been nice if the player movement was slower since i kept finding myself bumping into walls XD
9000 points when it comes to uniqueness and story tho,
I do kinda wonder what the inspiration behind this game was XD
Thank you! I was inspired solely by our amazing theme image. Looking at it, all I could think of was Dr. Robotnik and the cover art to System Shock. And it escalated from there.

The newest installment of turok!! much enjoy. I did get lost a bit but thats part of the fun.
Sounds like I need to play Turok!
In the beginning the graphics are really nicely put together, I didn't notice that any of those were stock photos!
Oof, I think I suck a bit at 3D games.
I would have like to be able to set the walking speed as well, because it moved a bit fast for me.
Was I wrong to expect Sonic the hedgehog to fight Robotnic in the game? :D
Great effort!
I couldn't find any stock photos of Sonic, sadly, but since it's first person, no one can prove that you're NOT playing as Sonic! 😎
That IS true haha!

swimming is more useful here than in all of the immersive sim genre combined
