As the title said, I suck at coming up with ideas, but is it allowed before the jam?
I'm pretty sure you can, but there will be a theme that you have to follow so keep that in mind.

It's always good to do preparations, maybe think of a style and/or perspective beforehand. The theme could of course "force" you to change your decisions once the jam starts, however that doesn't happen often
