sowwy. new game soon trust

Woa, the concept on this one is so unique. The execution was a bit lackluster, felt like I couldn't enter into the below to get stuff without skipping all the dialogue telling you what to do cus of the time speed-up, so I ended up going down the same wrong path 3x and dying. Still, if expanded upon and improved, this could be amazing! Very highly rated.

Loved it! Very enjoyable gameplay and satisfying too.

It was great! Nice job!

I like it! I probably just suck but I couldn't find a single stick at the end so I died like 3-4 minutes in. Still very fun!

This was super fun. The gameplay was amazing, the art and graphics were incredible for a 3-day game jam, the music was great and the concept and use of limitation were very creative! Amazing!

(probably a feature, but you can basically get infinite time when the timeblocks start to have a countdown by placing one then instantly removing them)

Thank you so much!

If I ever update the game and add more floors, I might put checkpoints here and there, but for now I felt the game was too short for that. Thank you for the feedback!

also what does "The music is rats." mean?

Thank you so much for the compliments!

I really liked this game! The graphics first of all are amazing. Good job on doing this in 2 days! I did have a couple of issues though, the sword takes (in my opinion) too long to actually strike to feel responsive. Second, the concept of the game wasn't very clear at the start but after reading the comments here it was clear and I was able to use it to my advantage! Overall really cool!

Really great how you were able to do this using TurboWarp! I started my game dev days using tools like that so I'm glad to see people utilize it very well. A very enjoyable experience!

This was quite the interesting experience! Great job on making this in only 3 days!

I like it! The concept is unique, losing abilities overtime, and it was pretty well executed! Like TomPuffs said though, the art department was kinda lacking. Everything felt a little flat and I believe the main character is a traced version of Mega Man (which in this scenario there's nothing wrong with, but it kinda loses uniqueness). Movement could definitely also get a small improvement, it felt kinda jank to control sometimes.

Other than those things, great game and lots of fun! Great job!

Loved it! The art was great and the game's concept was very nice! The only complaint I have is that the movement feels a little bit janky at times. You could've added input buffering or smoothed it. Otherwise, this is perfect!

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! I'm not that much of an artist and I wanted this to be a solo project, so I did my best lol. Thank you for the compliments!! :D

I like the way you used the limitation! The gameplay was very rewarding, yet I do have to say I didn't know what to do at first. We have a guide at the beginning, but I feel it should've been more fleshed out (unless this game was meant to be learning by trial and error, then it's great). So overall, very great and very rewarding!

Thanks so much! I'll look into making the game a little more understandable.

Thanks for the nice comment! Nice job on escaping! (or did you?)

Amazingly presented! It's great how someone can do so much in so little time. Great job!

(1 edit)

I can safely say that this game is incredibly fun to play. It's addicting and fits the limitation very well! I don't really have anything to say other than that I love this! You did great!

(Oops, the comment sent twice. Sorry if you got a double notif)

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I'll try to fix the issues with the shop in a later version, maybe I can rearrange the UI to make it more understandable. Again, thank you so much!

I liked this game! The writing was great, and I really liked the way the story was presented! Every image fit very well with the dialogue. As you stated in the questionnaire, you kinda lost track of the passing time mechanic, but even without the integration of the limitation it's still a very good story and game! Good job :D

Thank you for the feedback! This is only the game jam version, so I might refine the shop in the future to make it more understandable! Thanks for playing :D

I like it, but it doesn't incorporate the limitation at all (atleast, i think) and you have to install Python with Pygame to run it. Could be a little more user-friendly, but it's alright! I enjoyed it!

I loved this! To start, the use of the limitation was insanely unique. I would've never thought of it myself. I also really liked the way you integrated real world ground into the game. Kudos on making this in only a couple of hours!

I really liked this! After the timer goes out, you feel a constant tension as at any time the Suraxu can spawn and get you. It was very well presented! One note I had about it was that after finding your way out of the main lobby, it was a straight path with no deviations. It was just walking for a bit, especially when the Suraxu isn't there. While this can really up the tension, after a while it gets a little boring.

Amazing presentation, great horror, just needs more variety in the paths you take.

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing! I'll see if I can improve this in a future update.

enable ps5 and xbox controller configuration while steam is open with controller plugged
