Oh it appears you've attached the project, not the game. You need to go to Build, then Create executable on the top left menu to create a zip that would work in Itch.

I unfortunately don't own gamemaker so cant open the file provided and give feedback. For future jams just so people have access to playing your game you could export the game by packaging it as a zip. Heres a cool guide that should explain how to do so https://www.yoyogames.com/en/blog/quickstart-on-exporting-and-sharing-your-game

Also adding screenshots to your game page would also be a nice touch to show people some stuff about your game even if they cant access it.
