A really fun game and it even has upgrade system too :)

Excluding upgrades, it's fun thing to attack golems with balls. We could break their parts or break their core. I love the varied golems we could fight here :).

With upgrades, it gives different tactics with different ball. Though arcane is buggy cause it can't break core at all.

Really neat idea! I included it in my Palette Jam 2 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I played this game much longer than intended. I like the concept and the implementation. It was really fun to play. It's a great game and I don't have many points of criticism.

What you could improve is the visual design of the enemies and their blocks.  They look a bit flat and don't integrate well in the game world.

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! Yeah I erred on the side of clashing too much than not enough but I might have overcorrected.

Fun game. like the concept ! The balls upgrades are a nice touch to make you replay.

I love this game. The variety of enemies as you go through a run is great. The sense of progression with the upgrading your village feels good. All of the different types of balls have distinct abilities. It's unfortunate that the arcane ball has a bug that makes enemies invincible to everything but the fire ball. I haven't played all of the games yet, but this is definitely my favorite so far.

Got almost all the buildings upgraded and then I got a soft lock when trying to pick a ball. I also managed to see the final? boss, but didn't get to beat it. Fun little game and loved the little village up to with villagers running back and forth. I do believe the arcane ball seems a bit bugged because a couple of times it would make the enemies invulnerable to getting hit after getting hit by an arcane ball. The volley also was not very helpful and I tended to avoid that one as much as possible. But all in all a fun little game.

Developer

Thanks for playing that long! Agreed, it needs some work on balancing the different balls, arcane and volley are a bit behind compared to fire and steel.

Pachinko defense game! Haven't seen that one before. This was a lot of fun to play, and the enemy designs were very creative - really made me smile. Good use of colour on the main gameplay screen too, the dithering to indicate depth is a very nice touch.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I wasn't so sure about that dithering, glad to hear it works out.

This is a pretty fun game! I'm a big fan of peggle-like games and this is a nice twist of it with the tiles themselves moving up to kill you.

If fleshed out a bit more with some other features it could be really good.
