Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
yes
Summarise your game!
The player controls a zombified anthropomorphic cat that regenerates when they die, using the body parts form their own corpse they can make various weapons needed to progress and get to the end of each level
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
with the harvesting mechanic you create weapons out of parts of yourself, thus "you are the weapon"
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
no, but something you SHOULDN'T pay attention to is the music, idk how to make music :,)

really cool concept! I feel like with some fine tuning of the puzzles this would do really well!
my only gripe with this game was that I wasn't aware initially that I had to jump ON the spikes and walking through them was fine to do so, so I thought I was soft locked to begin with
regardless, keep it up!
Cool game! Last level was actually really clever, but I feel like some levels were a bit janky. Especially the first moving platform level. There was also a level where I had to straight up walk through a wall, which was kinda annoying.
cute art, clever take on the theme! controls were kinda jank, and i got stuck at one of the later puzzles, but i loved the moments of trying to find a way to die in the right spot to progress. i recorded my experience with it too:
also got a good giggle out of funny meme death pose
Thank you laffcat! ^^
unfortunately, the grappling
hookpaw mechanic took so long that I didn't have enough time to really refine the controls. If I continue to work on the game and release a non jam version that will be the first thing I'll work on. :)I cannot believe that a gameplay video of a game that I made actually exists, it's taking all my willpower to not keysmash in all-caps right now, thank you SM AHHGH!!!
oh and a tip for the last level: remember where you respawn when there's no checkpoint
btw if anyone's reading this.... hii :)
but I SHOULD mention that this is my first game, like, ever.
omg I'm so sorry, I somehow misread "Please explain how your game fits the theme" I was rushing to submit it, I can read and understand sentences I PROMISE
EDIT: never mind I fixed it, but the "Anything else you want to tell us?" bellow it when filling it out really confused me somehow
