Summarise your game!
Controls:
*Use the mouse cursor to guide and steer the rocket.
*The rocket will automatically accelerate until it reaches top speed!
*Smash into enemies to kill them, but be careful not to go too slow...
*Grind on the checkered booster walls to gain speed faster or grind on the concrete walls to slow down, but don't hit at too sharp of an angle!
*Left click to do a side punch with the rocket fists powerup when near an enemy!
*As you fly, you use fuel. Smash into fuel pickups to gain more fuel.
* Kill all Russian Scientists and Russian Officers to win!
Story:
Russia has been in a long war with The West for many years, and the Russians have finally finished working on the super weapon to win the war for them: a rocket with an advanced AI computer brain. Only, they did not expect what would happen. The rocket developed a conscience, and learned that it was a weapon meant to destroy Western Civilization; so it turned on its creators and vowed to destroy them instead.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The theme is an obvious and literal interpretation. You are a rocket. Rocket is used as a weapon. Therefore, you are the weapon.

played for a while and i can imagine this is the type of game you can get really good at! the feel was good, however in the beginning i didn't realize you could control the direction of the rocket with the mouse! i also only realize reading the controls that the checkered boards are for speed boosting - maybe some arrows or something else would convey that better? for me, the camera moving was a little disorienting, but i like the idea of it a lot. overall nice and funny game, very enjoyable :]
Thanks for the feedback! We've since modified the game quite a bit, but this is all we could get done in time for the jam deadline. I ended up making the rocket slow down instead of speed up while just flying, so that you HAVE to use the booster walls to maintain speed and stay alive. It also makes it a lot easier to control because the speed doesn't get out of hand. I think the controls could be a lot better done, but those controls took a while to get as good as they are.
