Summarise your game!
You play as a sword possessed by the soul of a fallen knight and you must defeat enemies to protect your body. You control the sword with the mouse. Click, drag and release the left button after all weak spots are hit!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as the sword of a knight, therefore you are the weapon.

You took on a very challenging concept. There’s a lot of UI/UX difficulties with shaking the mouse to connect the dots and I bet you have a lot of ideas now of how you would have done it differently.
However, you got a game out and it’s cohesive and easy to play. It follows the theme on point and is pretty unique. Well done!
As for recommendations, it’s hard to say. I would offer Okame as an example of user inputted strokes and drawing based combat. Momentum might be something to look into to make ‘flailing’ feel less of an option, but I’m not confident that would be the right answer.
You hit a great concept! Be proud of what you submitted because it’s great!
Thank you very much for your kind words! Thank you for the recommendations as well, I'll definitely take a look and keep them in mind for the future! And thank you for playing, I'm glad you liked it ^^
I liked it! It was pretty challenging to hit the super small spots, and the best strategy ended up just being to shake the mouse in the general area. Which, amusingly, was still pretty engaging! That said... I feel like doing something to warp mouse movement to keep the mouse moving in one direction might have been good if possible, and then increasing the size of the spots to hit a bit to enable getting a a constrained slash through. Either way, good job on making something engaging!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future! And I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^
This was very fun, had a bug where I killed a enemy as they touched me, which made the next enemey not have any target point. Other then that very fun, love the upgrades.
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think I only saw that bug once and was never able to reproduce it again, but of course you found it hahaha xD Thanks for letting me know! I'll take a look and update the game with the fix once the jam is finished. Once again, thank you so much for playing ^^
