Yes
Summarise your game!
Boulder Survivor is a Vampire Survivor-like game where you're a boulder and you run into enemies. Earn experience to level up and unlock skills. Average play time is around 3-10 mins
Click and hold to charge.
Drag to aim.
Release to launch yourself.
Plays surprisingly well on the phone.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are a boulder. You fling yourself at the enemies. The rock was the first weapon there ever was. In Boulder Survivor, you're a bigger rock.
Run over people and make yourself into a more destructive weapon by leveling up!
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This was done by a small team with very limited hours. I put a focus on making sure all the abilities that are present function well and without bugs.
If music/sfx are too loud, please check the settings gear in the upper right.
Also, if the boulder launching feels backwards, there's an invert option available.

You managed to create a nice and fun "time killer" game, great job! I enjoyed playing it and it was even relaxing :) Only thing that I might've wished for is for some sort of SFX and/or visual when you get hit. I suppose that health bar under the boulder ? If so, it was decreasing and I didn't even notice when/how.
I agree, the UI/UX for getting hit leaves much to be desired. That’s on the list for future development.
Thank you so much for playing and enjoying my game and the warm comment!
A fun game! Very quick and intuitive to pick up and play, and also nice innovative take on the genre. Just flinging myself into hordes of goblins is a lot of fun. I'd say adding a stronger visual feedback for when you take damage would be very helpful especially when you're rapidly flinging yourself around to deal with a big group. I'd love to see this concept expanded upon a bit too!
Thanks for playing my game! I agree there can be some better feedback for taking damage, or make it so it’s less consequential when you do (make healing easier and more available or something so a single hit doesn’t matter too much).
I really like this game! It's really fun, it's really satisfying to run over the enemies and hear the sound effects and the upgrades are really cool! One of my favorites so far. Keep up the amazing work ^^
Thank you so much for the kind words! Thanks for playing!
Really good prototype! Funny soundeffects and interesting upgrades! One question: Doesn't the size upgrade make you more vulnerable for projectiles? I think this has a lot of potential. As a next step for improvement I probably would make it a little easier, because I was dying very early and felt that I had no chance to win the game or progress further. My highest score was 882, but only because I got early health upgrades and a full heal right before I was dying.
Still really fun to play. I definitely want to see more of it.
Yes! You are right that the size upgrade is semi-detrimental. One thing I kept forgetting to put in the description is that larger size is more damage! The problem is that the enemies only have 1 or 2 health and it didn’t affect it much! There’s a whole damage scaling mechanic based off of speed and size that never got to shine because I didn’t have time to revamp the game flow experience. (scaling enemies, different AI attack patterns, etc.)
Also, 882 is very impressive. Well done! Thanks for playing my game!
Ah, I get it. Yes, time was short. Maybe you could add to the size upgrade also a higher resistance to enemy projectiles to balance the upgrade more. But higher damage also makes sense.
This was a great game! I had a lot of fun picking the different power ups. Max moons all day every day!
Thank you for playing! Moons is one of my favorites too!
A really nice concept and easy to understand, keep up the good work! Sometimes the controls don't work properly, but it's fun to make the boulder crash everywhere!!
Thank you for playing my game! That is something on the future polish list. I agree it could use some work intuitively.
Such a nice little game really simple and well done... really nice.
Good job.
Thank you for playing!
THIS IS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously the gameplay feels so fun. If you can smoothe out the feel of the controls and get an artist in on this I see massive potential. Rock go nyoom and my brain is happy good job
Thank you for playing my game! I’ve already enshrined the line: “Rock go nyoom”!
It's so fun! The physics work nicely and I like the active take on the genre. The upgrade paths are clear and the enemies scale quickly. Nice work
Thank you for taking the time to play my little game!
The game played smoothly and this is a really good foundation to build on! Good job! Keep making game!
Thank you so much for playing!
