Summarise your game!
Boom Blood is a fast paced puzzle solving game where you are a bomb that must be defused before time runs out!
You are a bioweapon that is the result of a vampire doctor that wants to take over the world, or something. You must complete small tasks that you find the solutions to around the map to defuse yourself before you infect the local population and converting them into vampires!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player is a bomb which, when detonates, infects nearby people and turns them into vampires. People don't usually want to be vampires, so you're a weapon of mass destruction with the choice to save people.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Nope, enjoy the first game jam creation we have bestowed upon the world :)

Great job, this does exactly what it set out to. I was scrambling to not explode. The artwork is great and the in-game instructions were very clear, so I knew what I was doing. I did brute force the first compass but understood it once I got to blitz. Music/SFX would have definitely help increase players adrenaline as the timer ticks down.
This was a really fun entry! I love solving puzzles, working out how to decode each of the panels on the bomb was really fun and unique, and each one was clearly well thought-out! The clues were clear enough to point me in the right direction, but rarely outright gave away the solution, so they felt satisfying to solve - a tricky balance, but you nailed it!
The art is so cute, I love the floating animation of the vampire-bomb, and the reflection of the bloodmoon under the withered tree is such a vibe. Some backing music would have been nice, but it wasn't a deal breaker.
I failed the blitz mission with only 1 wire remaining to be placed, but I went back and was able to do it on the second pass.
Great work to you both!
