Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
CWTD is a platformer where you play as a stick of dynamite.
Your goal in each level is to blow off the debris blocking the entrance to the next level. To do so, you first need to ignite yourself by touching a flame. But be careful: when you're on fire you can only jump; the only way to turn is by hitting walls.

Controls:
- A/left arrow: move left
- D/right arrow: move right
- Space: jump
- escape: open menu

The game's source can be found at https://github.com/zoepfister/CWTD

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Theme: You are the weapon

in our game the playable character is a stick of dynamite. the goal is to free yourself from the mine where you're trapped.

The game fits the theme in the most literal way possible: you are the dynamite used to make rocks explode

My nostalgia for wario land just exploded. ... Pun wasn't intentional, but now it is. I love this interpretation, it's unique and a lot of fun!

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad someone spotted one of the games that inspired us - it means we achieved what we wanted :)

Really fun concept that fits the theme. A bit more visual interest could go a long way but loved the music that mirrored the gameplay.

Cool!  The way you pop out of the bundle to respawn was clever. One of the jumps on the last level was a tad hard but great game over all!

This is indeed a cute little game! I like the concept of having a two-phase level where touching the fire changes how you play the game. There’s a lot one can do with that! Great job!
