Very polished: the first entry so far that felt like a complete game I can actually buy on a store

Clean implementation of the mechanics and a very pleasant experience

Excellent integration of secrets in the game and fun to play!

Really impressive result for a first game! During the first playthrough we encountered very few bugs that in the end didn't really affected our experience.
We truly enjoyed the art style of the game: can't wait to see the final game!

You should now be able to find the complete walkthrough on the game page 👍
There might be some differences in the layout of the maze (if I remember correctly, the early demo had less doors), but the puzzles and their solutions are still the same.

Thanks for taking the time to try our game and for the precious feedback.
While discussing what could have made an interesting game for the jam, we had the feeling that our idea could have either worked or failed miserably 😅
It is nice to know that someone saw some potential in it!

Thanks for the feedback!
As for the hint on the walls: J and I do not refer to specific walls; they hint (sorry for the repetition) at a skill you can use in the overworld

Thank you for the exhaustive explanation: we opted to duplicate some game objects and resize the copies. One major limitation we encountered is that not everything on the screen can be magnified.

Once again, great job!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! We should definitely explain the mechanic with a proper tutorial in a future version of the game.
Collisions are indeed far from perfect. Improving them is one of the first todo in our list :)

Thanks! We definitely need to improve the "platforming" aspect of the game 😅

Great platformer, with a simple mechanic but still able to be challenging

Nice idea! I would consider allowing the player to only drop items on the cart, so that they have to think carefully about what to place and where to place it

Really addictive arcade game! The only game so far I played over and over again (I don't know how many times)

Nice twist on the 2048 concept!

I felt a little overwhelmed initially, but the tutorial perfectly breaks down the concept to help you enjoy the game: well done!

A really neat game! The movements are fluid, and I found the idea of using the size of the ball as a health bar as well particularly clever

It gives me Baba is you vibes 🎉
Interesting concept and well designed puzzles: I truly enjoyed it. It could really benefit from an undo/redo mechanic imho.

Thanks for the feedback! 🎉🎉🎉

Cool concept for a puzzle game!

Hi everyone! Here is our MAGNIFICENT game developed for GMTK Game Jam 2024 on the theme "Built to Scale".

It's a two level puzzle-platformer in which you use a magnifying glass to scale platforms in the environment trying to reach the flag 🚩

Please consider rating the game, but especially comments and feedback are greatly appreciated: this is our first time participating in a Game Jam and we want as many suggestions as possible on where and how to improve.

Here is the link to the game page: enjoy!

I'm not a big fun of this specific genre. That said, I LOVED IT: so clean, interesting mechanics and interactions. Well done!

Literally the best submission I played so far

You made this on your own in 12 hours? It's insane! We also tried to implement our version of a mgnifying glass in Unity and struggled so much.
May I ask you, how did you implement it? It looks so smooth!

After I picked an object, depending on how I moved the arms, I started to slide back and forth (not a big issue, but I wasn't able to give the sky back at the end 😅)
Nonetheless, I'm really impressed by how well it looks

Once you get the gist of it, it is really intuitive and fun to play

Interesting concept the idea to place the game on a vase. Unfortunately, the movement/actions don't seem to work properly

A clean implementation and interesting gameplay in a simple game!
It is even more impressive if you consider it was entirely developed in LESS THAN 48 HOURS.
