- A cool lighting and slime-spreading mechanic that unfortunately feels half baked. You mention that the game has no ending yet, but it feels like none of the mechanics are complete either. The spreading slime/light mechanic seems to serve as a tool to only light up areas ahead to find more skeletons, but as is, this is a bit boring. It would have been cool if the spreading of slime/light served more of a purpose—possibly to warn us of dangers ahead. The upgrades too feel useless. Yes we get the ability to spread further, and move faster, but these upgrades only serve to get more upgrades. It's a mindless loop. Unfortunately, none of the upgrades are useful for anything else. I would have liked to see these upgraded abilities useful for something other than getting new upgrades. I feel like there is something here to really expand upon. Unfortunately, nothing is fleshed out to keep things interesting. It's not quite there yet, but keep expanding on it! Keep going! Thanks for the submission!

Yes
Tell us about your game!
You are a slime in a dungeon, and need to clean up the dungeon from your evil overlord (named Roht). After the goblins went through and killed all the adventurers, your job is now. Wander around and dissolve all the skeletons of past fame and glory.
Due to time constraints there is no ending, the maze is not randomly generated but skeleton locations are.
wasd/arrow keys to move
hold spacebar to spread around and gain vision
release spacebar to retract
Known bugs: You can move while having slime spread.
Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?

The random sound effects are so unnerving... its great! The lighting effects plus the sounds perfectly set the scene: a dark, dank dungeon. I also loved the slime spread effect. Well done!
Dorb lighting effect. Nice slow pace, the location triggered sound bytes were nice....
