They Dug Too Deep is an attempt at a tower defense wave survival. The player tries to survive as long as possible against incoming dwarves by placing appendages (tower) to their alien body.

Extra Notes
Life happened and ran out of time in balancing the game, so there's very little polish :)

Nice job! Good use of the spreading theme by building our your appendages. Simple and fun!

Nice gameplay, definitely has the wave survival feel and a good challenge. Would be cool to see the concept expand further. Only thing that didn't feel great was if you lost a node, that could easily turn into a cascade of losing things you cant afford to replace.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I think the game could do with more balancing or mechanics to help with cascades - either positive or negative.

This is a great mechanic. I'm not sure what the 3rd power up does, though!

Thanks! The third structure/thing allows you to build more of the basic buildings -- it's meant to allow growth :)
