- While I found no issues with the controls, and found the artistic approach and style to be nicely done--same for the music, I don't believe I would have understood or comprehended your interpretation of the theme unless I read over your GDD. Along with that, I understood more of what you were displaying in terms of alchemy but not so much how shadow would fit into this (unless the environment was what you used here?). While, again, I understood what you were putting together with the story you were telling, after playing, it didn't truly come across to me beforehand, and I only found myself asking questions to try and comprehend what was going on and being said to me. However, I do not think any of this was done poorly, just in terms of the implementation of the themes for the game were not expressed in a way that I personally understood. All the same, do keep up the hard work.
- controls feel smooth. lack of direction made it hard for a new player where to go. But solid potential for future game. I think there might be a gap in theme for this specific jam.

The art is lovely, did you make it yourself? I felt that the stages of grief were a very creative take on alchemy, and the overall artistic vision is interesting. The game did a great job of communicating abstract emotions. Good entry.
Thank you for the kind feedback! The main character (Hylo), the bosses and the desk scene/level select were all custom drawn by one of our teammates. She's an artist and we were all super happy with what she came up with, so glad to hear that others like it as well. :o)
