  • During my time playing, while I found the controls and instructions to be simple to follow, I'd have to say that when it came to actually selecting the proper ingredients needed that suited each customer didn't feel clear to me. I understand that using the book is supposed to help guide the player, but for me, it didn't come across very well and I couldn't really tell if I was selecting the right thing or not. In regards to the themes, while I wouldn't say the way you presented the structure of the gameplay to be 'bad' by any means, I would have to say that my interpretation from playing that shadow was interesting because of the narrative being presented. I was curious to see how much more story was to be told. For alchemy, the crafting feature is, again straightforward, but doesn't feel very unique--unless there's something else I may have missed something. Overall, I guess I didn't feel that after playing there was much I interpreted in regards to the themes implemented, but I find what you presented to have been put together just fine, too. All in all, keep up the hard work.
  • I found it hard to figure out the symbols and potions. I think some kind of in game tutorial would be of great benefit. the artwork is nice.

The game is fully controlled by a mouse with the exception of "cutscenes", where you can press space to skip the text reveal.
The game is about working as an alchemist for an Assassin's Guild in the fantasy world of Lunas, where you need to brew poisons to kill targets described with images. To find the correct ingredients and their order, you will need to consult the ingredient manual, which contains all of the required descriptions.

The idea, art and sound is perfect. Everything fits amazingly. The game execution also looks very polished and professional but I stumbled on a few crucial points:

1. The font was awful. I struggled in reading it (Yes, skill issue, I know... But still)

2. Text auto skipping was also frustrating. I am a slow reader and I hate when games force their speed. Solution to this is very simple - Let players go to the next "slide" via click.

3. Although you get a paper with requirements what potion you need to do but even with the "help book" I couldn't figure out how and what I need to do. The gameplay wasn't clear to me at all. Maybe I'm just dumb, idk.

I believe if the game becomes more clear to dumb players like me, it will be a very solid project in a long term. Nevertheless, great work on the game :)
