- WOW! just WOW! I am SUPER impressed with what you guys managed to come up with for this game in just two weeks. I love the base mechanics of this game, and incorporating line of sight mechanics is so clever for the shadows and alchemy theme. The music is great, the art is very cute, and the randomly generated dungeons are impressive! Honestly the only thing I felt was missing from this game was more. More enemies and enemy variety, more weapons to find and tinker with, more set design to make the dungeons more interesting to look at! Also a bit more difficulty, as the game was pretty easy for a roguelike. Honestly y'all, with polish and more time to develop, you guys could have yourselves a unique and great game! My only notes now would be probably make instructions for the base mechanics in the game, like how potions work and what exactly you can do on the crafting table, basic stupid-proofing. but I am genuinely super impressed with y'all and I beg you to keep making games! if this is what you can do in just two weeks, imagine what you could get up to with actual dev time!
- Great dungeon roguelike! The visual mechanic created a really cool feel of mystery to the play. I would have personally preferred the camera stay more centered on me as I moved, instead of floating 'behind' my position. Made it so I had much less time to react because new enemies were off screen even if visually in my light radius. Maybe intentional, but again, not a personal fan. Your numbers were going to 10+ decimal points, may want to round those out!

GloomCraft is a two dimensional top down roguelike which uses hard shadows as an advantage against the player to hide enemies or important elements. The player plays as a mage that can brew potions and upgrade weapons with different alchemical resources gathered from the dungeon.

The dynamic shadows are really cool! I did find the character hard to control, and especially switch between shooting and looking. It's a unique mechanic, but I don't think it's a really fun one. There was so much to focus on that that distracted me. Also, maybe you need a tutorial extra for the crafting, because I put all my balls on the table and nothing happened :p
Still a nice game with cool concept. The art is also chef's kiss!
Super cool!
Really cool man! Really small project! I love the dynamic shadows and the fx used! really cool man!
