  • GDD The pace of document is good. And I agreed with ya animator. Best of luck! Game The font is hard to read. The game feels interesting, but it need a tutorial to understand what the objectives are. I noticed it have a depth Z issue. I can see why 6 direction is hard. Good concept.
  • Playability: No issues at all playing the game, only had a few issues with the understanding the action points and a delay when switching between items. Theme: Theme is nice and implemented! Would like to see more of the Alchemy theme in here. Cleverness: Its clever! I enjoy games like this, and would approve of more tower defense. Its very easy to run around and throw potions and win without having to worry to much about holding down each objective. Artistic Style: I really enjoy the custom graphics, sound effects, and music!

Once I figured out the gameplay, it was really fun and engaging. The art style and animation is really nice and the monsters look cool. It's clear the developers put a lot of heart and effort into this. Definitely worth a try!(Please change the font though)

Thank you for the kind words! I was one of the artist so means a lot. As far as the font goes it has been brought up a few time and will be worked on. <3

There's a lot of good stuff here! I thought it was a tower defense game at first, i reallly liked the animation of the turret being built. I also had some trouble moving diagonally. Really good job tho! keep making games!

thank you so much! we definitely wanted to invest more time in an intro / teaching the player if we could do it again :D

Cool movement, I really liked playing, it is a little hard to understand, but once you get the grasp of it its pretty cool.  Fun game to play!

thank you for playing and the kind words!

Really good looking art assets and I like the concept. It was a little difficult to move around and I'm not sure I totally figured out how to win/what to do. Since the walls and towers were so big, sometimes it was hard to see what was happening around them.

Developer(+2)

thank you for the feedback! for the movement, did you find the controls difficult or more the feeling & feedback on screen?

Submitted(+2)

Its a bit of both since the hex grid doesn't map to up/down/left/right like we typically do when using WASD. I think mouse movement that is similar to other games in the tactical turn based genre would have been easier.

This game is hard. im a huge fan of the art and hex'd based movement! the animations were smooth but there was a lot of y sort issues that made combat hard. overall well done!!

Developer(+2)

appreciate the feedback! we want to expand on this :D
