  • Game is unfortunately disqualified because the GDD is not publicly shared. Which is a shame because you made a decent platformer, even though the shadow theming is a bit superficial and not mechanically based so it can't score that high on theming. Keep making games! I

Mr.ShadowMan is about a little shadow man trying to find some friends. It's a precision platformer with three challenging levels. I went for a monotone feel with vibrant colors thrown in to add some pop and make it easier for players to identify things. Like most platformers, Mr.ShadowMan feels better on a controller. I had lots of fun participating in the game jam and creating this game!

Extra Notes
This is my first ever game, and I want to shout out my friend for composing all of the music.

I love a smooth and fast paced platformer, the movement here is really satisfying and well done. The simple style complements the mechanics well. It was too challenging for me to beat but I'm sure more talented speed runners would love this. Great job!

Cool artstyle, simple but it gets job done. I couldn't get past the red cube section early but the movement in general was super cool. Maybe a little slippery. Good work though!
