- So this game is intuitive and matches the theme of alchemy quite well, however it doesn't really do anything with shadows mechanically so you lost points there. However on the face your game is cute and fun and clever!

Magical Barkeep is a fantasy bartending simulator. The ingredients used are all fantasy ingredients so your previous bartending knowledge does not apply here. When a customer places an order they will ask for up to 3 different tastes. It is up to the player to pick up to 3 ingredients to mix together into a drink for the customer.

This is my first ever gamejam I've participated in and I'm happy that I reached the finish line as a solodev

Excellent job doing the mixing. Loved the music choice.
The main character is really cute, you did a great job with her sprite and little hand gestures. The game play is fun and creative, and the spunky music was pretty fun too. I'm not sure if the aspect ratio was correct because I could see the customer every time he left the bar area. Might be intentional or might have been a glitch. I was a solodev too, so I understand how challenging it can be to put together a nice game loop. I think you did a really great job.
