  • I liked the game and your usage of the theme. A mutated slime is a pretty cool idea especially when you have 12+ tentacles all connecting to random enemies. I did notice that 1 level in speed upped my movement speed by more then double or atleast thats how it seemed. The speed level scale might be a bit too steep though. I really enjoyed the tentacle slams though was really cool however it did get a little too loud after a while especially when it was maxed. Overall my gameplay experience was quite enjoyable and I look forward to the game being polished and future updates.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
This game is a survivor-like which means you only control the character with WASD/arrow keys or with your mouse after pressing SPACE.

Every attack will trigger automatically and when you earn enough xp you can unlock and upgrade abilities.

The goal is to survive 10 minutes.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are in control of a slimy creature that evolves its tentacles to defeat the enemies. You don't need any other weapons than yourself because you are the weapon.

Beat it, got the "well done" screen. the AOE tentacles and lifesteal is really the way to go in the beginning. If you put a lot of points in them, it's really tough to die. It was fun though. around 5 minutes or so, it seems like no new enemies spawn in. You should add more enemies to fill out the 10minute grind. Anyways good job

Yeah enemy variaty and balancing the different skills is definitely something to work on.

Woo I made it to just before 8 min! I really like the feel of this game, all the upgrades were really cool. The only real piece of feedback I have is the tentacle slam sfx was a bit loud compared to the other sounds, so later in the game when I had it maxed it was a tad too loud. Fun Game, I liked the way you did life steal.
