Playability
- Very polished!
Theme Implementation
- The Player being the weapon is one of the rarer interpretations and I'm all for it! I think the space-ship angle weakens this however.
Cleverness
- I was hoping that what you said or how loud or soft you said it something different would happen. As it stands the optimal strat is to get a big set of lungs and whisper for as long as possible. Yasuhati was such a big hit because it took into account volume and made for entertaining streams and player engagement. What if if you made a sustained WAAAAA you shoot a laser that gets stronger the longer you hold it but overheats, and you had several more weapons on cooldowns that you can activate with Puh Puh Puh sounds, like missiles, mines, etc.
- The wave gun seems to be strictly better than the double gun. I struggle to clear waves without its piercing power.
Artistic Style
- LOVE the menu, it's a beautiful space-scape. No notes, aside from my previous comment where space-ship doesn't quite align with the player fantasy of screaming. Plus, I can't help but think of "In space, no one can hear you scream" and how that's contradicted here.

Use your voice, be The Weapon
In the depths of space, you awaken as a sentient weapon, harnessing the power of your voice to unleash devastating attacks and defend the galaxy from looming darkness.
Game is intended to be played on desktop browser, using keyboard, mouse and mouth (microphone). So please enable mic, when browser prompt you.
CONTROLS
WASD or ARROWS: Move ship
1: Bullet gun
2: Wave gun
letter O: Voice overlay
VOICE CONTROLS
Use your voice to shoot! Say bang, sing, talk, or scream. You Are The Weapon, so sound like The Weapon.
NOTE
If you are unable to use a Microphone. Press SPACE or LMB to simulate voice input
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The game's core theme revolves around the concept that the player's voice is literally their weapon. This creates a unique connection between the player and the game, as their vocal input directly influences their success or failure. The theme is reinforced through. Player should act as The Weapon.
Player uses voice to shoot. So this is SFX for shooting! Fits theme greatly and lowers scope of development.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Use different type of voice to play, have fun! Sing, talk, scream, practice notes, be creative.
Thank you! This is my first public game made from scratch and first game jam! Really great experience and I've learned a lot.
