  • Game Design Document is organized and clear. Inspirations for gameplay and art styles are easy to find and include visual examples. This was helpful for when a reference wasn't previously known. The game story is told from the perspective of a sentient weapon, literally representing the theme. I do like the non-combat oriented approach to having a literal weapon as a main character. The three tales present show the decision making of the sword and the outcome, or lack thereof, of the sword's choices. It's an interesting narrative structure. I wasn't sure if the story was intended to have some kind of overarching story thread, or if it was just going to be a series of "day in the life of" snippets. Either way works, and this is a great start to try out either direction. The art is soft and makes the game feel cozy. Good choices for background music and sound effects.

This VN looked BEAUTIFUL, I absolutely love the art, the ambient music fit well, the writing was solid, I really really like the concept here, it had a similar vibe to something I was thinking of doing initially, but this execution rocked. I'd love to see a longer form VN in this style!!
