- Hey! You all did a great job on this demo. I didn't know what to expect from a retro soulslike, but I think you all did great incorporating an interesting story with graphics that grasp your attention. I especially like the character designs and animation, which give a bit of the Soulsborne feel while staying retro. The controls were relatively easier to pick up, but I can see how it might take a bit to fully master: another thing you all designed well. I'm interested to see what other mechanics you have planned to implement with other bosses and the MC. A couple minor things that I think could elevate the player experience is a basic settings menu to control things like text speed, some background music while text is on screen to set the mood for the story bits, and maybe some graphics updates that provide some depth while maintaining the retro feel. In the end, it's up to your creative direction. Overall, you all did a great job, and I'm excited to see where the game goes from here.

This game is currently in prototype phase. The below text in about section will describe what to expect from final release.
Years passed, since that incident. The blood, the screams, the fear and the agony stills haunts. Now is the time to put this suffering to an end, to put an end to the ones who started this. We are gonna have a feast. We will devour everything in our way. The only difference will be, they are going to have a taste of fear whereas I will taste the revenge.
Use your kicks to defeat enemies in this boss rush game. Face some feudal lords of the biggest nation of this dark fantasy world. Get your revenge. Observe your environment and figure out strategies. This is not going to be easy.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Within the context of an action game, you use MC’s years of kick training to attack the boss. Whenever the player attack is executed, MC stands on one foot and does a 360 spinning kick attack. Hence MC uses himself as a weapon to damage the boss.

neat idea, story is interesting.
gameplay is rough but not terrible, boss is *really* fast.
Thanks for playing. The difficulty curve is inspired by souls-borne series and in prototype it may seems a little unfair. We are working on improving the game-play and controls part and hope to publish a new version soon. Next version will mainly focus on providing damage scaling customization to players. Any other issues would you like to point out? it will help us a lot. :)
another thing i have found is the damage box for the when the player_character gets to close to the boss and takes damage is a wee bit large (at least it seems that way). When i rush at an area near the boss so i can use the player_character's primary attack i recieve damage. It is probably a skill issue, but it still seems a wee bit big.
