- This is an excellent game! combining an extraction with a horde type game was implemented very well. I really liked the attack, having to stop makes you think when you can stop and where you should land. Having to use the space bar to dash seemed a bit odd sense everything else is done by the mouse. The combination of the art and music was done very well, it gives off that old electronic computer style.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes, it is publically accessible. Anyone with the link can open the document.
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes, it's public.
Summarise your game!
You play as a virus that is collecting data from a computer. The player must use itself to destroy, and collect data from security protocols. An extraction shooter mixed with a dungeon crawler. You shoot your own body at the enemy. You move with the mouse, and you can dash with your spacebar.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as the virus, and you launch yourself at the enemy.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Even though this is only my second game, I welcome the evaluation, advice, and suggestions.

All I have to say is wow! The slingshot mechanic was a bit faulty at times, because I would press m1 and it wouldn't activate, but once I figured out I have to click closer to the pixel character, it was smooth sailing from there! I like the map design, since it allowed me to navigate freely and use the tight spaces to shoot through multiple enemies at once and I also liked the dead ends, which made me feel a sense of dread and feeling cornered. I love the gameplay and how satisfying the sound design is at the moment I shoot myself through a giant wave of enemies. The fact that I'm briefly invulnerable when attacking and dodging really adds to the satisfaction of shooting myself into all of those mobs and coming out with my data still intact. So really there is nothing else to say but bravo! 9/10
This is a fantastic! I'll make sure to create better and more clear instructions in the future. But I am glad you stuck it out and found the mechanics fun. It makes me happy to see people enjoying themselves, even though this is only my second game.
Very interesting player control, took a little while to get used to. But once I am used to it, it was pretty fun launching myself at the enemies. Well done!
I'm glad it was fun! For me that's a huge bonus :)
Very nice looking game. I had a little trouble getting used to the drag to attack mechanic. Was hard to execute when i was panicking and getting surrounded. Good particle effects and onhit effects to make the gameplay juicy. Overall nice job!!
I feel that, when I first made the mechanic I had problems too. A hint I forgot to add in the game was how to chain the launches. That's my poor design flaw though, I'll definitely return to this project after the jams finished for at least 1 additional update. Glad to know I got the juice right! I appreciate the feedback a lot, and the time you spent playing.
