Definitely need more work on the NPCs, discovered lots of bugs after submitting the game. I agree with the part about tutorial too. After playing the game you submitted, it got me thinking about how to best bring the player up to speed on how to play without breaking the immersion too much.
Thanks for the feedback, appreciated!
Having narrative reason to take the player through one round of each screen at the start before the real game begins was a great move. It served as a great tutorial allowing the difficulty to scale well without it seeming like a forced tutorial. The narrative seems intriguing too, and I would love to see more of it.
Well done!
Thanks for trying out the game! Usually when the player gets spotted, the script teleports the monster nearer to the player instead of having the monster walk all the way, but I guess there are some bugs there that I need to fix.
Guess I have to put in more work into the difficulty and player movement. Thanks for the feedback! :)
Bugs aside, I really like the part where you are playing from the POV of the pilot, looking through the mech’s visor/screen. Most mech games either uses the third person view, or first person view, but directly in-front of the mech. I like that I can get out of the sit, and move around the cockpit. Well done!
