- GDD Well-structured GDD, with references for the inspiration and clear planning. Good use of images to help understand the mechanics. Menu Simple menu that gets to the point; I appreciate the option to regulate the volumes. Gameplay I am well familiar with this game concept, but instead of only going up, the goal of the games I played was going right. So I managed to dominate the concept and cleared the game pretty fast. The obstacles have a nice variety, and some have double functions. By the nature of a game jam, I could not test every single obstacle, but I did hit a helicopter twice, once from below, and that ended my run, and the other from above, which stopped my fall and propelled me even higher. The gameplay loop is enjoyable, with a few upgrades and different guns and consumables. The fact that the guns spin adds another layer of complexity that must be considered. Art Nice pixel art for the background and characters. Everything was well distinct. Good color palette and variety on assets. The background and the obstacles and guns meshed well. I had an issue when you went too high and started falling fast or went up too fast with the upgrades. While the white and blue stripes on the background do a good job of giving the sensation of speed and movement, when it gets too fast, it starts to give me severe motion sickness. Fast enough and it becomes a strobe light; that's dangerous for some people. My recommendation would be to change the continuous striper for objects in the background, like clouds of different shapes, planes, birds, kites, and silly stuff like that. It will retain the sensation of speed and minimize the eye strain. Audio Enjoyable BGM with a nice loop. The SFX are well synched and do the job well. Last words Great job; as a solo project, it was pretty solid, with plenty of room for expansion. The game is simple and fun. Worm regards.

Summarise your game!
Players control a gun that must shoot downward to propel itself upward. Each shot consumes ammunition, and players must manage their limited resources wisely. The game features multiple types of upgrades, including different weapons, increased ammo capacity, and propulsion enhancements. On descent, players collect money, which can be used to purchase these upgrades. The higher the player gets, the more challenging the obstacles become, including enemies, limited ammo pickups, and environmental hazards like helicopters flying across the screen.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The theme "You Are the Weapon" is directly integrated into the Game, as the player does not control a character but rather the weapon itself. Unlike traditional shooters where the gun is a tool for a character, here the gun is the protagonist, and its firepower determines movement and survival. Every shot serves both as a method of propulsion and as a limited resource, reinforcing the idea that the weapon is the key to success.

Very fun game. After trying to time my shots, it felt like I was able to get the most money in the quickest amount of time by spamming my shots instead. It looks like there may have been obstacles in the sky based on the screenshots, but I never ran into any. Still had a great time playing this one, I love games like this!
Cool art! I'd consider adding boosters in teh sky that can fling you up higher or give you more ammunition. (PS. the recoil power is very, very, overpowered.)
Thanks for the Feedback!
A short but fun game, kinda reminds me of playing good ol doodle jump. But with weapons!
