  • Cool art style, the background was nicely made and music fits nicely. The movement is smooth but the controls are a bit janky. The need to constantly swap between moving mode and attack mode felt needlessly complicated and took away from the otherwise smooth gameplay. Volume control is something I feel is a must in any game, and this game sadly was missing one. Shift+W for the charged jump did not seem to always work. You did not include a GDD which is a shame, On the plus side though, you did include a tutorial which is a massive W. Overall this game was fun, even if albeit a bit janky.

Summarise your game!
Its a boss fight where you play as a flail and you fight a slime. thats really it.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
you play as a flail. its a weapon, so yeah.

Good work on creating the controls and tutorial. Though at the end of the tutorial I thought it'd take me to the next room or end but instead I fell into an endless void. Lol. A prompt to return to the menu would fix that up real quick. The game was very short but good work on the art work and music. Not being able to control the direction of attack as well as lack of visible feedback when the attack mode is on made things a little difficult. Otherwise good job on what you have created for the jam!

This game was cute, I liked the impact when you hit the slime it made me smile :D I'm a bit confused on the jump ability because there wasn't really any platforming, and when you jump the camera kinda messes up anyway, but otherwise this was a pleasant experience :)

tysm, yeah the jump was kind of pointless
