This game is cool! I really liked the ambient music and the art. The puzzles were fun and interesting and I liked them a lot, although I didn't really understand the shadow room puzzle because you can just walk through walls as a shadow. I really had a hard time with combat though. Using the explosion attack felt way too punishing especially since it's very short range and uses the same resource as your movement option. Otherwise lining up enemies to be destroyed by a laser wasn't particularly fun, since it felt overly hard, and the lasers fired inconsistently. The boss battle was cool, and I liked it on paper, but I think the third phase was a bit much, since certain attacks like the sword through can hit you without any time to react, and it kind of felt unfair. I did beat the boss, however! I don't know if it's a glitch, but the screen went black afterward. I feel like there should at least be a way to gain more action pips, because running out during the boss fight wasn't particularly fun, and just led to needing to move clockwise around the boss hoping I don't die. I don't mean to be overly critical, because I really like the core idea, puzzles, music, vibe, and everything else. It's all awesome! I'd love to see where you guys take it in the future!! good job getting your game out there! :D

this game is really cool! i liked all of the mechanics, and I'm not very good at first-person shooters, but if this was a full title this is probably where I'd learn! I know there's nothing you can do about it, but it just sucks that the web port is messy (control w is probably the worst part :( ) I liked the speed mechanic. and when I got the hang of things it was really fun! This might be a skill issue (again, bad at FPS games), but I struggled to understand how to go faster in the levels that had lots of tight circles, or platform spirals. it felt like any movement tool I had would send me flying way too far so I just walked normally. I think the game would be a bit more ergonomic if the dash was bound to the right mouse button since you usually have to pair it with the slide key. This game is really cool though! I really enjoyed it a lot and it felt very polished and fun!!! Good job getting your game out there :D!
hi!! this game is pretty fun! lining up zombies and piercing through them all at once was lots of fun and really satisfying. I'm sure you already know this, and it wasn't a humongous problem, but the bullets weren't lined up with the reticle making it harder to hit them. Maybe I'm just bad at FPS games, but this seemed pretty hard to me! I couldn't get the boss below half-health before the timer ran out, but I did at least get some pretty high scores! twirling the gun was cool and fun! I'd love to see it expanded upon! Maybe it could give a buff to your next shot or something. I kinda wished there were either healing items or more leniency on the enemy attacks, because sometimes taking damage didn't feel particularly fair (lots of hits in a short time that I can't do anything about, and enemies spawning on top of me). the reload mechanic was very fun to use, and I liked getting the timing down, it felt satisfying and nice! I think the game could stand to be a bit less dark though as sometimes it's hard to see where you're going. Otherwise, I had fun with this title! I think it's a good difficulty (if I wasn't so bad at FPS's and has a lot of interesting content. Good job getting your game out there :D
Thanks! There definitely needs to be a lot of tuning, I made the attack hitbox humongous and thought it'd be enough but yeah I need to watch the timing a bit. I think there is a bit of a design flaw that needs to be worked out with the health mechanic as it's not as fun just to be stunned into a shitty situation rather than restart. When the game was played, It was enjoyed. We had quite the time! We could feel the Care and Love that was inserted into this Special project. When we made brief parallel brushes with our Dear walls, Sometimes momentum would be dropped. That did not feel particularly nice, but at least was a minor aspect. It was occasionally difficult to read into the Meaning behind upgrades; Unfortunately, we weren't able to understand what lies within the Soup crucibles. As a solo work, We found the content and polish admirable! Your creation brought us great joy, and the Handling was especially slick!! Wonderful job on bringing this to the table!!
This game was really silly & cute! the squash and stretch on the bread were really entertaining to me. The mechanics seemed interesting, but when I got the poisoned bread it didn't seem to kill the slimes, and when I died I didn't get that bread back, so I didn't really get a chance to experience it. I like the toss the bread button that just doesn't do anything but make a noise lol. Good job getting your game out there! :D
This game was really cool and fun!!! it was a bit overwhelming at first with all the stats and lines and rerolls that you just get dropped straight into, but it was overall fun, and I liked strategizing once I got the hang of things. In the end, I just used lightning over and over because negation can provide lots of heals, but I like the mechanics in the game and the aspect of using debuffs to your advantage with situational buffs. This game overall was really cool, and reminds me of MMOs I used to play which is always fun!! Good job getting your game out there! :D
This game is really cool, and I'm kind of a sucker for melancholic space games. I ended up getting 3 endings, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to reach the disc in the wellness room. This was really polished and it shows! the voice acting is nice, the story is engaging, and the atmosphere is nice! The music felt at home here too, especially with it being mostly ambient with light instrumentals. This was a wonderful little story and I'm really glad I got to play it! Good job getting your game out there :D
this is a cool game :D I really like the art style (the scorpions r super cute) and the vibe of the game. I'm kind of a sucker for survivor games, and this one was pretty fun :D I liked the silly You Are The Weapon tagline. I think this game could've used a bit more mechanics or something to vary gameplay, but on a time limit, this is still really cool. I found the Tesla canon to be completely overpowered, and when I used the gun and the grenade launcher the first time I got overwhelmed towards the end with enemies and it felt like I couldn't get enough firepower even with plenty of upgrades. It was really cool though, and it was satisfying to watch a ton of enemies die at once. Good job getting your game out there :D

Thanks for playing :D nice combo!!! I'm sorry you had trouble with the movement, I think it needs a bit more tuning, especially with the attack timing and the camera. I'm assuming when you mention laddering you're talking about the section with a lot of white blood cells and yeah, that needed more tuning as well since missing some of the jumps would make you do that. I hope you still had fun playing even though you couldn't complete it!!!
this game was really fun and cute! the mechanics are really well thought out and robust and it feels really nice to play! i really like the puzzles and the movement they feel really good :) the only thing is occasionally launching diagonally felt a bit finicky and I'd end up being launched either straight up or straight sideways sometimes when I didn't want to, otherwise, this is really well-rounded and a total... BLAST... to play. Good job getting your game in :D
this game is really cool i liked it a lot i really liked the gameplay loop and all the core mechanics felt really satisfying to use. I was really absolutely horrendous at this game for some reason and almost ran out of lives on easy, but I definitely see and feel the vision here and it's really cool. i think it'd be cool with maybe more enemy variation like maybe some kill you if you don't get off in time or there are obstacles. this is really cool and has lots of polish :D good job getting your game out there :D
this was a cute game!! I definitely did not expect a sudden dark souls battle lol but it was very welcome. i had a bit of trouble getting a handle on the controls and felt that maybe it should just always shoot stuff where the camera is facing. otherwise, I had fun on this short little adventure! good job getting ur game out :D
This is really cool! i like the graphics and minimalistic sounds and gameplay, they felt really nice and round and polished. It's evil and i'm gonna be honest i couldn't beat it cuz i was mad lol, which i think is a positive for this type of game and shows like a lot of the polish. This is a really cool submission! this game is really cool! :D I really liked the feel of the game, and the music and SFX were wonderful with the panning and slowing at low health! I really liked the game's mechanics; it felt very robust and satisfying. The only thing is I think the tutorial should communicate better what to do with the white blood cell clusters. additionally, sometimes the special effects (while really pretty) made it hard to see what was ahead of me, making it harder to dodge things or collect heals. Really cool game though! It felt wonderful to play and had a cool style! I don't know if this is too obscure but it reminded me a lot of the final boss from ty the Tasmanian Tiger, except that was really not fun (from what I can remember) and this is fun! Good job on your submission! :D
this game is really cool! i like the idea a lot, and the core loop is fun. the only thing is i feel like DNA drained weirdly fast when making bullets and it was hard to purchase as many upgrades. i had fun getting tons of guns and ammo and i think this is a really cool idea that has a lot of versatility:) it would be really cool to see add-ons to ur structure that play more into the fact that you can place them anywhere, like maybe something that buffs blocks around it or a melee block :P good job getting ur game out there ! :D
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm sorry the timing was rough, we kinda ran out of time to give the level design more polish sadly. For the thing about the art style, the art was split between me and our dedicated artist, and the way we did things was quite different which could explain things (I did the player, environments, and boss, and she did the enemies, character profile, and in-game UI). it was hard to get the camera right, so I'll keep that in mind next time because I wasn't sure about the speed!
This game was really cute ! I liked the graphics and music, and the game idea felt really intuitive! like Of course there should be a game like this, and I think that's really cool all in and of itself! my only thing is the angles felt hard to predict, and sometimes felt inconsistent. like one time the ball got set into play moving into the hole and I just lost right away. Are there any more than two levels? I couldn't ever get the game to get past that point. Regardless I'd love to see more! :D old classics being set up with new ideas and influences is always fun!
this game was cool, and the idea was really fun!!! it's really fun to tear apart that pesky UI!!!! it did feel... incredibly hard, though that might just be cuz I'm a noob lol. Also, IDK if I was playing it wrong but i had a hard time throwing the elements so instead I just kinda tried to make them into a barricade. Good job though!!!!
I've not played either Wario land or Antonblast but I've heard a lot of good things about them so I'll be sure to give them a look! I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay mechanics, it's where most of the dev time went tbh, and as a result, the level ended up being a bit rushed (I had to get the large majority of it out overnight on the last day @_@ ). I'm glad you got to experience the "getting the hang of it" part, i was worried the game might be too short for the player to learn controls well enough to experience some of the included sections.
this game was really cute, and all the elements looked really good! i liked the player upgrade features they all looked fun to use and creative. I think i was really confused on what was going on with the ammo and things flying at me tho, and eventually all the ui and game in general just broke :( it was really cute and cool and feels nice tho so good job!!!!
thank you for the critique :) I did find that the level ended up feeling short, i think i underestimated exactly how fast you go, and additionally how long it takes to design levels with multiple tracks of ways to progress (especially with them being differingdifficulties). I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
