Love this cute little game. The art and story are cute though some of the choices in characters seemed like a straight forward choice. The collision felt sticky when you hit a a boundary and made jumping a little difficult but angling just right I avoided the sticky trap. Also, I seemed to get locked in the second trail choosing the merchant. None of the dialogue changed with different people I talked to and I couldn't progress and had to start the game all over again. Great little game and would love to see expanded with more choices and options. I had a lot of fun

Love the concept, visuals, and atmosphere of this game. WSAD seems simple enough but somehow it is so challenging then adding inversion on top of that! Thank you for the very helpful tutorial and very clever volume adjustment. Maybe a mock battle tutorial to say when I make a right move or wrong move before the battle? Personally one round of that in the tutorial mode would help learning better. Would absolutely buy a full version of this game on Steam.

Love the aesthetic and gameplay! The art is soothing and fun with a great color palette. When I finally got a hang of how the controls it was a lot of fun to catch air and soar. As others have already said a wider view may help with decision making on where the fruits are and where a player could dive. Also, the absolute loss in movement/momentum can be frustrating as your are learning. Overall I had a lot of fun playing your game! Great work!

Love this game I can people be competitive with friends and trying to beat each other's high scores and leader boards. The art is adorable af and I feel guilty for sending those poor animals through a cannon though not guilty enough since I made it to wave 10! I have no real criticisms besides possibly making the pirate ships the same 2d style as the animals if possible? Also maybe if the animals can pass through each other instead of pushing the main character around if we are both on the bridge. Also possibly making a box or circle indication of where we can drop off the canon fodder so we know how close or far we can drop the items from the cat. No big deal though. I love the animals little emotions/reactions as the game went on. Overall a really smooth feeling and fun game! Great work!

Ah I had so much fun playing this game! Because of skill issue it definitely took me a little bit of time to get a hang of the controls but once I did it was smooth. The overall design is very well done. I love the enemy variety as well the level design. I appreciate a fully fledged tutorial. I definitely needed it and sometimes that is overlooked with the short time frames we have during a jam. Sometimes it felt like the hook didn't want to hook an enemy when I felt close enough to them with enough charges. Might've been a skill issue though. Overall great work! It definitely has the framework for nice, continuous gameplay that would keep people coming back for more.

The art and music for this game are perf. Would enjoy a music and sfx volume slider. The gameplay loop is pretty easy to understand and enjoyable. I loved consuming the little worms and other animals. Unfortunately I couldn't see anything in too great of detail because the game was a bit too small on my screen so I had to really zoom in my browser. The controls and movements also felt a bit too slow? Otherwise I love this cute as hell game and can't wait to see the updates because it feels like a lot of fun.

Art style and gameplay vibes are immaculate. When I found out that I'm controlling a constantly moving sword it kinda took a minute to get used too but very satisfying once I got a hang of it. The sfx feedback when you hit a ghost or a ghost hits your tower is really nice. Would be a really great game anywhere but especially on mobile. Great job on this game. I feel the satisfying parts of the gameplay loop and with a little music, different enemies, and other little things you could change to make it harder and more challenging as you go you have a super great game happening here.
Lol. Well your voice acting was hilarious and sometimes having fun like that turns out very well! Omg I never thought about a sock over my phone to muffle the extra noise. I did that on an old mic but the thought never transferred.
With my playthrough the dash was only the hammer doing the grin and no speed up movement if that makes sense? I say definitely keep it but possible add a bit more distance. Just my opinion though.
Yeah, it was definitely a struggle to try to keep our personality in something with such a short time through but I'm very happy that you still get the feeling despite that. Hopefully in further development we can show all the cool ideas/mechanics we didn't have time for. Thank you for noticing the effort despite the hilariously short gameplay and hope to honor that and carry on the energy through the rest of our game development journey.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review and play our game!

Fantastic illustrations. Voice acting is hilarious. Just feel like I'm unsure of the hit box for the enemies and the hammer. Sometimes I could get the goblin but it doesn't feel like a dash so it gets confusing and then before the second goblin gets into camera I die? There was a run where I killed first goblin but still died after I passed above him. Overall all the good vibes are there and it would be a great vibe as a full game.
Love the art and the fact this is a great little dungeon management sim. Love the tiny yells of the tiny adventurers. It's pretty east to understand but I wish there was a gradual taper in room size. Like a small room to begin with and then larger and larger dungeon you can build yourself or just manage to get to your soul goals. Overall I can really see this as a fun longer game. Great work!
