A roguelike game that has a unique concept but due to the lack of explanation and/or tutorial it is hard to understand fully just by playing. The rack option seems useless and a strategy that did not fail me at all was shoot until bullets match number of enemies then end turn and it was not punished. Shops/Events felt few and far between so I could not upgrade as fast.

Kins of Shotguns's itch.io pageJudge feedback

- Kins of Shotguns is an interesting concept, but I would say the main thing standing in the way of its success at the moment is a lack of data to go off of. Because the effects of shots are somewhat random, and you can't see what the current shell is without firing it, you have to iterate through a few rounds of testing to really understand what's going on inside your shotgun. By the time that testing is done, you are dead in most cases. I would recommend making the effects of every shot very clear in order to drive players toward meaningful conclusions faster. The music for the game worked well, and I found the art style to be endearing. Please do continue to develop this project. Thank you for your submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes. Absolutely.
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes. Indeed!
Summarise your game!
A roguelike shotgun that is blinded for some reason. You have 6 shots, and you don't know those six shots (they're live rounds).
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The game is simply you playing as a shotgun. You're the one to choose the destiny of the shotgun itself, whether it be aggressive or as strategic as one can possibly be.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Any bugs, possibly SFX or music suggestions. Any general suggestions would be awesome to help me and my teammate become a better developer. Thank you in advance Goblin King for letting me stay up until 12:37 AM PST to submit this game!
