  • I like the concept of the game and the premise of using your blood as a weapon. However after a little it just becomes a running simulator where you just keep your distance and kite the monsters until you get more blood. I also noticed that your blood bullets push away the blood beads on the ground. This makes it even more difficult to get your blood regenerated. Also the hit boxes are kinda bad. I felt like I was nowhere near enemies and my health just plummeted from being near them. I think with a little more polish and a few more abilities you could have a nice gem here. Suggestions: - Add a volume mixer so I can change the volume from ear bursting to normal levels. - Add more blood abilities. - Allow for turning on and off abilities to have a blood conservation to help with strategies.

Yes

Summarise your game!
A vampire survivor-like game where you use your own blood as a weapon!

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You use your own blood as your weapon for the primary ability in the game (Blood bullets). You lose health as you shoot it and must collect the enemies blood to regenerate.

Enjoyed this! I'm a big fan of the old-school Megadrive esq music, and I love Vamp Survivors. I can see the influence. I'd have liked a play-again scene after dying, and I'd have liked to have read the gameplay overview and seen your development timeline. Are you thinking of doing more with the game post jam?

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

We are planning to do some more things with it (mostly finish up what we've come up with for the jam). After that time will tell :D
