- The game delivers an engaging and responsive bullet hell experience, effectively conveying themes of fear and anxiety. The snappy yet slightly slippery controls require players to anticipate enemy movements and attack patterns. The art and music work together seamlessly to enhance the atmosphere and reinforce the game’s heavy subject matter. I’m uncertain whether the theme was effectively implemented. While the player character does shoot projectiles, the GDD’s mention of "Hope is a Weapon" left me wondering—are we playing as Hope itself? I would have loved to explore this concept further or even experience the different story routes described in the GDD. Unfortunately, the given timeframe didn’t allow for that. One aspect that could be improved is the zoom adjustment when near the main target, as I found it disorienting. Additionally, enemies often spawned directly on my position, making encounters feel unfair at times, even though the game itself wasn’t overly difficult. Overall, this was a solid bullet hell experience with strong potential. I’m excited to see how you develop it further!

Summarise your game!
A 2D shooter using the mouse to aim and WASD to avoid negative thoughts and fight back to give people hope! Each fight is around a theme of that negativity.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The concept of hope is a weapon to defend yourself from these negative thoughts!
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The enemies being themed around certain fears or anxiety, as well as the final fight being different depending on choices.

Nice concept and the art was really lovely, good job!
A good experience overall! I like the shielder enemy, but the camera moves a bit weirdly. Some enemies are nearly impossible to dodge (they spawn camp me at times)
I'll learn to get better on cameras in the future, this was a first for me to have it contain two things at once. Enemy placement i'll take note, I should have tested more with people that didn't know the attacks lol, I'm glad you still enjoyed it! Thank you so much!
