- As a big fan of dungeon crawlers and roguelikes, this game was right up my alley. A floating, sentient sword fits the theme well, though I would have loved a bit of story or an explanation for why I was there. The art was nice, Jim was a great pal, and the interface was easy to understand. While the attack range could have been displayed differently, for the current state of the game—and especially for a Game Jam entry—it worked well. One area for improvement is the hit feedback when attacking bats, which was nearly imperceptible. I only really noticed it when hitting a skeleton. Adding particle effects or making enemies flash red for a moment upon impact would improve the clarity and feel of combat. Overall, this was a solid dungeon crawler. While there are definitely areas that could be refined and expanded, there's a lot of potential here. I genuinely hope you continue developing the game with more features and levels!

Here are some things I liked: the shop keeper is hilarious, the dash mechanic, loads of different enemies and the crazy wizard dude that messed me up ! Nice work :)
The mechanic seemed cool, i couldn't really get the hang of it though... Could be really interesting and fun game.
Could be really cool, few issues. The art is very good, and the ideas here are great. However, I feel some particles/sounds would make this game 10x better. Nothing much, just basic sounds for attacking, hitting an enemy, and the enemy dying. Cool game!
thanks for your feedback. Looking forward to releasing the improved version soon. We have a level that is almost done, sound effects have to be implemented and some big big bugfixing has to be done.
